About Dr. Quinn

I earned my Doctorate in Psychology in Marital and Family Therapy with a special focus on Attachment Based Therapies. I utilize the principals of Attachment Theory alongside modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM), and Mindfulness and Self Compassion (MSC) to facilitate change with individuals, couples, and families suffering from attachment related distress and trauma. I am certified in EMDR Therapy, EFT Therapy, and I am an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. I am a wife, a mother, a daughter, and am one of six siblings.  I can appreciate the many nuances in the intimate and often complex experience of being a child, caregiver, sibling, and partner.

My interest in the field began after my own transformative experience in therapy where I learned how important it can be to have a safe and secure relationship as you embark on a journey toward healing from past, present, and/or future struggles. Over the years, working with various mental health organizations and witnessing the powerful positive changes individuals had inspired me to pursue a career helping others navigate life’s challenges. Working with individuals, couples, and families is one of my life’s greatest treasures.  I am honored to learn each client’s story, witness their incredible resiliency, and help them along their journey toward healing and growth.

My approach in treatment is to help uncover, resource, release and heal the attachment wounds that can happen as a result of trauma and that are interfering in the client's present experiences. Stylistically, I am open, honest, informative, and aim to always offer my clients the warmth and safety necessary to lean into our relationship as a safe haven as we embark on their healing journey.
