Therapeutic Services
Many of us can experience difficulties
transitioning through life's many seasons, and at times we can struggle to recover after facing the challenges that life can hand us. I work with individuals to help them move beyond these adverse life experiences, heal, and thrive.
I provide a safe and nurturing space designed to help families and children connect and develop secure attachments with the people who mean the most, their family. Using and Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) approach, I focus on helping foster loving and healing connections in these vital relationships.
Safe and secure relationship connections are vital to emotional, spiritual, and physical health and happiness. Through the use of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) I help couples unlock their painful patterns of interaction and find new ways to connect where their longings and needs can be met.
I am a fully certified EMDR therapist. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapeutic approach I take to assist those who have experienced trauma, aversive life experiences, and/or struggle with connection in their relationships. The EMDR process and technology activates our innate healing mechanisms and optimizes our capacity to change how memory is encoded in our brains so that we can heal from our past and learn new ways to move through the life.
I am a fully certified EFT therapist. Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a therapeutic approach I take to assist couples who struggle to communicate, connect, and/or reach new heights of intimacy in their relationship(s). Through the EFT process of finding and untangling the negative dynamics that couples get caught in, EFT offers a framework to help couples find their way to heal from past hurts and create a new connections and emotional intimacy.
Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT) is a therapeutic approach I take to helping children, teens, and families struggling with life and developmental changes, transitions, connection, and/or communication. The EFFT process transforms negative interactions by restructuring attachment and familial bonds, and increases emotional engagement and a felt sense of security.
